TUNISIA 1-0 FRANCE, 57′
Tunisia moved ahead of defending World Cup champions France as Wahbi Khazri scored in the 57th minute.
Khazri, who made his first start for Tunisia in Qatar, took the ball just outside the center circle.
He then headed towards the byline before delicately beating French goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.
It was perhaps the reward Tunisia deserved after an impressive start against them the blue ones.

Argentina star Lionel Messi is football’s answer to skiing great Alberto Tomba, Poland coach Czeslaw Michniewicz has said.
Speaking ahead of Poland’s final group stage match against Argentina in Doha, Michniewicz said his team would need to surround Messi to stop him.
“Messi on the pitch is like Alberto Tomba on the court, he is able to prevent everyone like Tomba can prevent everything,” said Michniewicz.
“So we have to put players around Messi because if he can move easily, he will score easily.
“One player cannot stop Messi, we have to get players around him.” Still, Michniewicz says that may not be enough.
“The whole world has been thinking for years how to stop Lionel Messi and he has scored dozens of goals and assists,” he added.
“I don’t think we’ll ever find the final answer to that question.”
Poland have their own star striker in Robert Lewandowski, who follows in the Argentinian’s footsteps as a darling of Barcelona, where he has scored 18 goals in 19 games this season.
Many have called it the clash between Messi and Lewandowski, but Michniewicz does not accept it.
“It’s not just a match between Lewandowski and Messi, it’s not tennis,” said the coach.
“Robert needs his teammates, just like Leo needs his. We trust these great strikers but they cannot win alone”.
Michniewicz admitted that as a fan he has supported Argentina for a long time, but said he would not have conflicted emotions during Thursday’s game.
“Since I was a child I have always rooted for Argentina. They have great fans, a great team, great personalities like Mario Kempes in 1978 and other players.
“There have been a lot of ups and downs, but I’ve always rooted for Argentina, even if tomorrow I won’t.”
For his part, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni admitted he has a weakness for bitter rivals and neighbors Brazil, who have already qualified for the knockout stages.
“I’m South American and I’m happy that Brazil is over. I am the biggest fan of South American football”, said Scaloni.
“If it’s not Argentina, I’d prefer a South American team to pass, whoever thinks otherwise is wrong.
“They (Brazil) are doing very well and I congratulate them.”
Argentina are at risk of missing out on the knockout stage after a 2-1 defeat by Saudi Arabia in their Group C opener.
They must beat Poland to secure a place in the last 16, where there is the possibility of meeting reigning champions France, who knocked them out at the same stage four years ago.
However, the Poland-Argentina winner is more likely to face Group D runners-up, which would be Australia, if they get at least a point against Denmark.
Asked if he would like to avoid playing in France, Scaloni told reporters: “First we have to pass. Then we’ll see who we meet.
“Without understating anything, there is still a way to go.”

Coach Hervé Renard has called on his Saudi Arabia players to leave their mark on the World Cup in Qatar and be remembered “forever”.
Frenchman Renard’s half-time team talk about the shock of Saudi Arabia after the win over Argentina has become the stuff of legend.
A short clip of Renard firing his World Cup minnows when trailing 1-0 at half-time to a Lionel Messi penalty – they recovered to win 2-1 – was a viral hit.
He admitted that his team’s conversations don’t always have such a dramatic effect.
“I agreed for the communications department to record a minute (at halftime), so I was lucky today because it worked,” Renard told a news conference before Saudi Arabia played Mexico in their last group match.
“But I’ve been training for over 20 years and I can very humbly tell you that it didn’t work all the time, unfortunately!”
Considering his team’s comeback came against one of the world’s greatest players in Messi, “there’s a big impact, it’s going to stay forever,” Renard said. “At least some people will remember me.”
Having beaten Argentina but after losing to Poland, Saudi Arabia must beat Mexico in their final Group C match on Wednesday to guarantee a place in the knockout rounds.
He recalled that the last time Saudi Arabia reached the second round was in 1994, 28 years ago.
“For our players, it’s a very good generation, but if they want the fans to remember them they have to make history, otherwise everyone will be forgotten in 20 or 30 years,” Renard said.
Making it to the knockout stages could be extra special for Renard given the possibility his team could face France.
“Of course I know the draw, I’d be a liar if I said I hadn’t studied the draw,” he said.
“Let’s focus on qualifying, putting all our energy into getting it and if you’re here tomorrow and it’s happened, I’ll say with a big smile that it’s going to be a great matchup.” With Saudi Arabia on the brink of a historic qualification, Renard was asked if the clash in Mexico was the most important game of his life.
But he insisted that winning two Africa Cup of Nations finals – with Zambia in 2012 and Ivory Coast in 2015 – remained more important.
“These are meetings that you must not spoil, otherwise you will regret it for the rest of your life.
“Regret is the most harmful thing you can have in life, and you should always be positive.”
