Wynonna Judd denies having a fight with sister Ashley over her mother’s will

In a new interview with People, Wynonna Judd put to bed rumors of an alleged breakup with her sister Ashley over her late mother’s estate. After Naomi Judd died by suicide in April, claims emerged that the siblings had been left out of her will, surrounding an alleged family feud. “Fight for what?” Wynonna asked the magazine. “I have such a great life. Ashley has a great life. Why would we be fighting over will?” The singer, 58, explained that after the death of Larry Strickland, Naomi’s widower and executor of her will, she and Ashley will split the property. “I’m not smart enough to say, ‘I’m going to contest the will,'” Wynonna said, in an apparent denial of reports to the contrary. “It never crossed my mind.” In the profile, Wynonna talked about forging a bond stronger with Ashley after the death of her parents, which she admitted she was still struggling to cope with. “I trust Ashley,” Wynonna said. “She trusts me in a different way that’s about the compassion It’s not about being successful, smart and capable. It’s about “I love you.” ‘I love you too.'”
