The second week of FIFA World Cup 2022 is in full swing on FS1 on Sunday, and we’re bringing you all the must-see moments from Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar, as Spain take on Group E foe Germany.
Earlier, Costa Rica beat Japan in a Group E battle, while Morocco beat Belgium and Croatia beat Canada in a pair of Group F games.

After Spanish keeper Unai Simon presumably threw the ball to Serge Gnabry by accident, the German striker attempted a shot that went slightly wide to the left.

It was a very contested match, exhibited by the German midfielder Jamal Musiala stopping this attempted shot by the Spanish striker Ferran Torres.
40′ – Goal disallowed
German defender Antonio Rudiger headed home. After a VAR check, however, he was ruled offside. The game went into the break scoreless.
Setting the scene
Spain are aiming to win their opening two World Cup games for the first time since 2006 after crushing Costa Rica 7-0 in their opener on Wednesday.
Germany, on the other hand, are aiming to bounce back from their 2-1 loss to Japan in their opener earlier this week.
