The July PlayStation Plus Essential line has leaked online and the three titles subscribers could get next month are pretty fantastic.

The leak comes through Dealabs user billbil-kun who has accurately filtered many PlayStation Plus titles in the past.

The new games, which will be available to PS Plus subscribers on July 5, are:

  • Crash Bandicoot 4: It Was Time (PS5 / PS4)
  • The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan (PS4)
  • Arcadegeddon (PS5 / PS4)

This is a pretty stellar formation.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is the headliner of this trio. The relatively new platform game from the classic series was very well received with 85% on Metacritic for PS4 and 86% for PS5. The game will be available on both platforms.

I’m also excited to finally try The Dark Pictures: Man Of Medan from the studio behind the fantastic horror game Until Dawn and Supermassive Games ’new horror game, The Quarry. Of course, it didn’t review as well as any of these games, with only 69% on Metacritic, but hey, it’s free.

Finally, Arcadeggon is the game on this list that makes me think it’s actually legitimate. That’s because the new multiplayer shooter premieres on July 5, the day PS Plus games are available.

The only curiosity on this list is actually Man Of Medan, which is already available to PS Plus subscribers at the Extra and Premium levels. Which is a bit confusing, but again PS Plus has become a bit more confusing since Sony merged it with PS Now.

We’ll know for sure if this leak is accurate next Wednesday, when Sony unveils the PS Plus line for July 2022. Stay tuned.
