A mystery woman who was allegedly abducted in Melbourne’s west more than five years ago is at the center of a new police investigation. Police believe a woman was picked up by a man on Cindia Crescent in Tarneit, over the Queen’s Birthday weekend in 2017.
Witnesses told police the woman was held by the wrists before being placed in the back of a gray Ford Ranger.

Police have not yet identified the woman involved and said there was no incident reported to police at the time.
The witnesses were only children at the time and have recently come forward to the police.
One told police the victim was believed to be of African appearance.
A facial composition of the woman has been released along with an image of a car similar to the one described.
A blonde woman with a stroller may have been walking in the area at the time.
