The two teams are coming off very different starts to the season. The Steelers are 1-0 after upsetting the Bengals in overtime last Sunday. The Patriots are 0-1 after a poor showing in Miami. Despite these results, the visiting Patriots are favored to win this game. One reason could be Bill Belichick’s 8-3 record against Mike Tomlin-coached Steelers teams, along with the fact that Defensive Player of the Year TJ Watt is out for this game after suffering an injury last week past
Sunday’s game features an interesting quarterback matchup between Mac Jones and Mitch Trubisky. Along with last week’s loss, Jones suffered a back injury and also missed practice time with an illness. Trubisky, who put up modest numbers in his Steelers debut, hopes to connect on more deep throws after missing his mark on several big-play attempts last week.
