The 61-year-old comedian, who has a long-running feud with Corden, re-shared a joke from a fan mocking the allegations.
The tweet, posted from a Twitter account called Sue, included a clip from Gervais’ Netflix show After Life, where his character Tony pokes fun at James.
In the clip, Kath, played by Diane Morgan, asks Gervais’ character Tony who his five dream dinner guests would be. When she says her first would be James Corden, Tony replies, “F***’m.”

The fan captioned the tweet: “James f*****g Corden #AfterLife @rickygervais The worst. Dinner party. Ever.”
Earlier this week, it was reported that Cordon had been kicked out of New York eatery Balthazar for allegedly “yelling at the staff like a lunatic.”
In a damning Instagram post shared by restaurateur Keith McNally, who owns the Balthazar chain, the Gavin and Stacey writer called himself a “gifted comedian” but a “moron of a man”.
Keith claimed he had kicked Corden out after growing tired of his “treatment of my staff”, claiming he had demanded a free round of drinks after finding a hair on his main course. While the second claimed the actor started “yelling like crazy” at a server over an omelette.
It later decided to overturn the ban after the comedian “profusely apologized”, saying he believed in “second chances”.
