90+3 min: Callum McGregor is booked for a foul on Sands, taking one for the team as the Rangers substitute threatened to break down the field. This is the first yellow card of the match.
90+1 min: Rangers will be furious to concede what was a very nasty draw. Celtic had the ball in the penalty area and the home side had a couple of chances to clear before it finally found its way into the path of Kyogo.
89 min: Connor Goldson is forced into what looks like a crucial save as Celtic break downfield. After all, it was not crucial, as the flag goes up. Finally
GOAL! Rangers 2-2 Celtic (Kyogo 88)
Celtic equalize and Ibrox are silenced! Kyogo heads home a rising drive from seven yards after Giorgo Giakoumakis takes him down in a crowded Rangers penalty area.
87 min: Joe Hart is forced out of his penalty area to hack the ball under pressure from Fashion Sakala, who has been outstanding for Rangers in this second half. He has caused Celtic all sorts of problems.
86 min: Rangers change: James Sands on, Malik Tillman off.
84 min: Malik Tillman runs onto a pass from Ryan Jack and runs down the inside left. With Celtic’s goal in sight, he leaves it too long to shoot and allows Cameron Carter-Vickers to slide in and block superbly.
82 min: Now playing with a blood-stained cotton swab stuck to one nostril, James Tavernier delivers for Rangers, who are working hard to protect their one-goal lead. If they can close out the game, the gap between them and Celtic will be reduced to six points.
80 min: Allan McGregor is quick off his line to claim a through ball that Giorgos Giakoumakis had no chance of chasing down despite his best efforts.
78 min: Substitution for Rangers: Scott Wright replaces Alfredo Morelos, who receives a warm ovation from the home crowd despite not being anywhere near his best today.

74 min: Substitution for Rangers: Ryan Jack replaces John Lundstram.
72 min: Sakala beats Starfelt for pace down the inside right, but eschews the chance to shoot with his right foot in favor of cutting inside and to the left. When he finally pulls the trigger, his effort is blocked.
70 min: Mooy crosses from the right to Hatate, whose shot is blocked by the arm of Goldson, who was at his side. Finally, the ball goes out for a corner from which the Rangers break down the field. Alistair Johnston does well to recover and stop Fashion Sakala’s gallop down the right.
67 min: Strangely, referee John Beaton didn’t go to his pitchside monitor to check this possible Goldson handball, instead just taking his video assistant referee’s word for it. One question: who exactly referees this match?
63 min: Abada cuts in from the right and sends a cross towards the far post. The ball has gone towards a Celta corner, from which another wins. Aaron Mooy’s delivery is good and the ball is clipped into the Rangers penalty area. Starfelt tries his luck with a wild swing and the ball appears to hit Connor Goldson’s hand. The referee does not award a spot kick, but it is subjected to a VAR check. No penalty.
60 min: Double substitution for Celtic: Liel Abada and Aaron Mooy replace James Forrest and Matt O’Riley.
59 min: Rangers corner. Barisic’s troops cross to take it. Its delivery is excellent, sent with a lot of zip. Celtic of course.
57 min: Ibrox are absolutely rocking on the back of this second-half collapse from Celtic. For the visitors, Matate moves into space along the byline and drills the ball across the face of the goal. He rolls behind Maeda and no one else is on hand to take him home.
55 min: Josip Juranovic: an apology. In fact, it wasn’t the Croatian who brought Fashion Sakala down with the penalty. Carl Starfelt was the villain of the piece.

51 min: Fashion Sakala shoots high over the bar from the Celtic penalty area. I should have done better.
49 min: Josip Juranovic was desperately out of position as Fashion Sakala picked up the ball and picked out Kent with a low pass into the Celtic penalty area. Kent was in acres of space and had plenty of room to cut inside and pull the trigger.
GOAL! Rangers 1-1 Celtic (Kent 47)
The Rangers equalize! Ryan Kent receives a pass on the left of the Celtic penalty area, cuts inside Josip Juranovic and fires a shot into the far corner. Joe Hart couldn’t and didn’t come close.

Second half: Rangers 0-1 Celtic
46 min: The game resumes with Celtic on the ball. There are no further personnel changes for either side, although Celtic did lose Greg Taylor to a hamstring injury in the first half.
Alistair Johnston: Celtic’s Canadian debutant has looked at the manor house born in his baptism of fire in green and white hoops. Indeed, Rangers have given him little trouble as they have been unable to get behind the Celtic defence. Their scoring opportunities have come from corners or after Celta’s mistakes. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Joe Hart have given their fans palpitations by giving the ball away cheaply in dangerous positions.
Mid: Rangers 0-1 Celtic
Pee! Referee John Beaton calls off the first half and the Celtic players head into their dressing room with a one goal lead thanks to Daizen Maeda’s opener. The goal was given to them by Rangers, who created some chances of their own. Ryan Kent had a shot saved at the post by Joe Hart, while Alfredo Morelos also missed a couple of people. Celtic have been the better team, but their leadership is well worth it.

45 min: Celta clear consecutive crosses from each side from their penalty area. Carter-Vickers does the honors on both occasions, pushing away deliveries from Barisic and then Tavernier.
44 min: Another effort from Morelos, who steals the ball from Cameron Carter-Vickers on the edge of the Celtic penalty area. He tries to curl a shot into the top corner but his effort goes high and wide.
