Prince Harry ‘worries’ that Charlotte and Louis will end up being George’s ‘replacement’

Prince Harry has expressed concern for the other “spare parts” in the royal family, including Prince William’s three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

In an interview with The Telegraphthe Duke of Sussex spoke of his concerns for his niece and nephews.

“As I know, within my family, if it’s not us,” he said, pointing to his chest, “it’s going to be someone else.”

“And although William and I have spoken about it once or twice, and he’s made it very clear to me that his children are not my responsibility.

“I still feel a responsibility knowing that of these three children, at least one will end up like me, the replacement. And that hurts me, that worries me.”

Harry’s relationship with his older brother has often been characterized as “heir and replacement”, with William heir to the throne when his father, King Charles III, dies and Harry his replacement.

Prince George, the eldest son of the Prince of Wales, is currently second in line to the throne behind his father, while younger siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are third and fourth.

Harry’s concerns for his niece and nephews come as his bombshell says it all For spare hits shelves this week.

The Duke was paid an estimated $40 million for a four-book deal and his first memoir has delved into private behind-the-scenes conversations with his family.
