Prince Harry gave another interview today ahead of the release of his memoir Spare, which delves into the royal family’s behind-the-scenes conflicts.
The interview on Good Morning America follows the “disappointing” ratings of the Duke’s interview with ITV’s Tom Brady interview, despite addressing an explosive set of issues.
Prince Harry addressed a range of allegations in his latest revealing interviews, from claims of “racism” in the royal family and his falling out with brother William, to Camilla’s marriage to King Charles.
During an exchange with Bradby, Harry denied the allegation that he and his wife accused the royal family of racism during their interview with Oprah, stating that “the British press said that”.
Asked directly if he would describe the conversations that allegedly took place about his son Archie and Meghan’s skin color as “racist”, Harry said he would not. “I wouldn’t, not having lived in that family,” he said, adding that he would refer to the comments as evidence of “unconscious bias.”

What Prince Harry has said about the British press
The Duke of Sussex has made a series of scathing comments against the UK media over the years. Thanks to the publication of his memoirs, Spare has also become a staunch defender of press intrusion.
Asked by Bradby about his love for the royal family, Harry commented: “I love my father. I love my brother. I love my family. I always will. Nothing I’ve done in this book or otherwise has ever been with the intention of harming them or harming them.”

Prince Harry’s popularity sinks to an all-time low after explosive interviews
According to a new poll, the popularity of the Duke of Sussex has sunk to an all-time low following several claims about the royal family in his upcoming book.
Almost two-thirds of Britons, 64 percent, have a negative view of Harry, compared to 58 percent in May, with just 26 percent seeing him positively, according to the YouGov poll.
The results come ahead of the publication of Harry’s book Spare, due out on Tuesday, which has sparked furore after claims the Prince of Wales physically attacked him.

Viewing figures for ITV’s Prince Harry interview have been released.
The Duke’s interview with Tom Bradby, which aired last night (January 8) on ITV, was watched by 4.1 million people in the UK, around a third of the 11.1 million of people who watched the Oprah interview of his wife and his wife Meghan Markle in 2021. .
US entertainment publication Deadline described the ratings performance as “disappointing”.
In the interview, Harry recounted controversial and surprising passages from the book which, according to one royal biographer, “could spell the beginning of the end” for the monarchy.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may retire for the rest of the year now that their story has been heard
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may retire for the rest of the year as they have both told their side of the story, the author of a biography of the couple has said.
Omid Scobie, co-author of Finding Freedom, said the frankness of Harry Spare’s memoir is the result of a man who for his entire life “couldn’t share a word”.
But he added that there isn’t much more to say and so royal watchers can expect to see a change in the coming months.
Speaking of Harry, Mr. Scobie told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “He has seen other people tell this story time and time again, including journalists like myself.
“I think this is Harry who finally wants to put his voice on the royal historical record.
“Of course, that comes with some downsides for those who have been part of her journey. We’ve heard some really amazing confessions and stories about members of the royal family, especially when it comes to Camilla and her relationship with the press.
“This is really just Harry pulling back the curtain on it all. In fact, I guess we’re getting the look behind the palace walls that we’ve always wanted.”
Mr Scobie said Harry is clearly “very confident in the story he’s telling” and it’s taken him a long time to get to this point.
He was asked Mr. Scobie does have a sense from Harry and Meghan’s team that this is how they intend to continue, saying he believes the couple “need to be very careful right now”, adding that he has been very focused in his private life recently and his brand has been “a lot about drama” and a “soap opera” that has been played out publicly.
“I think we’re going to see, for the rest of this year, a couple of pullbacks from a lot of what we’ve seen over the last few months.
“Both have shared their side of history. Harry more in many, many ways, more ways than we could ever imagine.
“There’s not much more to say, and so I think we’ll see a change in the coming months. That said, when it comes to talking about reconciliation, that’s very difficult after how much he’s shared in this book.” he said.

Prince Harry has opened up about his “tainted” romance with Caroline Flack and reflected on the TV presenter’s death in his leaked memoir.
Sections of the book have been cited by the British press after the memoirs accidentally went on sale on January 5 in Spain. The book was due to be officially published next Tuesday (January 10).
