A shooting in Mississauga on Wednesday night left one person dead, according to Peel police.
It happened in the Glen Erin Drive and Britannia Road West area around 10 p.m.
Police said they received reports from a person who had been shot.
Peel paramedics said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspicious information was immediately available, but police said an ordinary person was seen in the area.
There was a large police presence in the area and the police asked the public to avoid the scene while investigating the incident.
