Olivia Wilde made a spectacular appearance at the Academy Museum’s second annual gala, turning heads in a see-through dress and opting to go braless.
Wilde, who has been making headlines lately with the release of his directorial venture, Don’t worry honeyand the drama engulfing her cast, she looked stunning as she hit the white carpet outside the Los Angeles venue.
The gala is in its second edition and celebrates the most important names in the sector together with the new cultural institution.
Wilde, 38, looked up at photographers as she posed in the floor-length silver sequin gown, which featured plunging shoulders and a pale pink feather hem.
She was one of several high-profile guests at the prestigious event, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Julia Roberts, George and Amal Clooney, Mindy Kaling and Emma Stone, although Wilde’s boyfriend Harry Styles was nowhere to be seen.

The actress explained that she has been accused of “abandoning” her children in recent times, and that she has been criticized when she is “not photographed with” son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy , of 6.
“I share custody of my kids with my ex,” she clarified, referring to her former fiancé of seven years, Jason Sudeikis.
“People assume I’ve abandoned my children, as if my children are somewhere in a hot car without me. The suggestion is that I’ve abandoned my role as a mother.”
Wilde added that the public doesn’t see her with her children because she “doesn’t let them be photographed.”
