Margot Robbie is set to return to Neighbours, with the Hollywood star making an appearance during the hotly-anticipated August finale.
Robbie has played the role of Donna Freedman since 2008 and 2011.
The 32-year-old is understood to have filmed the scene via Zoom while in LA sometime after the show finished filming on June 10.
Although Robbie was unable to return to Australia to film, he made sure everyone knew he wished he could be there by sending champagne to the cast and crew.

Donovan, whose daughter Jemma, 22, and father Terence, 79, have also starred in the long-running show, previously speaking of their sadness at the show’s axing.
