Manchester United return to the Premier League after the World Cup break with what looks set to be a favorable meeting at home to Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford tonight. Although it seems like a long time ago, Erik ten Hag’s side finished the first race of the season in fine form and are just four points off the Champions League places, with a game in hand against the fourth ranked, Tottenham.
A win would really increase the pressure on Spurs, although Forest are not to be taken lightly. Their return to the top flight might have been difficult so far, but Steve Cooper’s side have picked up four points from their last two league games and have already stunned Liverpool, albeit admittedly at home .

Rashford returned from a prolific World Cup with a brilliant goal to open the scoring from a direct play from Carrington. Christian Eriksen flicked a low corner into the path of the England international, who latched onto it with aplomb after easily dodging traffic while desperately defending the area.
