SO MUCH for being done and all washed up. Not Liverpool, and certainly not Roberto Firmino.
Any crisis that may have been around Jurgen Klopp after a dubious start to the season was swept away by an avalanche at Anfield.

Boss Klopp’s side equaled the Premier League’s record win record when they attacked Bournemouth and it was their highest goal tally in a game in the new era.
Liverpool join Leicester and Manchester United in an elite club.
Man Utd have hit nine against opposition on two occasions, against Ipswich and most recently against Southampton.
Leicester also scored nine against Southampton.
While Firmino, who was supposed to have led to a club record £85m signing of Darwin Nunez as a replacement, claimed his own club record.
With the Uruguayan still suspended following his red-card header against Crystal Palace, the Brazilian proved he is not a spent force.
The 30-year-old became the first Liverpool player to be directly involved in four goals in the first half of a Premier League game with one goal and three assists.
The only other player to do so was Harry Kane in February 2017 with three goals and one assist against Stoke City.

The walk through the park began just three minutes later.
Klopp would have expected the Cherries to be ripe for selection after Manchester City thrashed them 4-0 and Arsenal made it three without reply, and they were exactly that.
Interestingly, Liverpool had gone behind in their last seven Prem games, but not this time, not against opponents who were very open to pillage.
Firmino sent in a simple cross and Bournemouth’s defense stood still as Luis Diaz stepped in to place a header beyond Mark Travers.

Three minutes later, Harvey Elliott was celebrating his first top-flight goal and it was a splendid affair.
Mo Salah broke down the right, Firmino touched back and inside, and the 19-year-old, who his manager thinks so highly of, delivered a superb curler.
Trent Alexander-Arnold got a wonderful third midway through the half, unleashing a rocket from 25 yards that exploded into the top right corner.
The England full-back may have questions against him in terms of his defence.

But he remains a real threat going forward, although Parkers defenders, who have now switched from their usual back three to a four-man backline, gave him plenty of time to pick his place.
Alexander-Arnold got going by playing a brilliant one-two with Firmino.
The goal allowed the Brazilian to claim an impressive double as it was the second time he had hit three first-half strikes in a Prem game, the first coming in a 4-0 win against Southampton in February 2020.
However, it only got better for him.

Salah attempted a cross that took a wild bounce and there was the striker who volleyed home from close range to claim his first League goal at Anfield since hitting the net in the 2-1 win against Tottenham on 16 December 2020.
However, he also had another feather in his cap, this: involvement in four first-half goals, the second Prem player after Harry Kane to score three goals and have an assist against Stoke City in 2017 .
It also has to be said that Bournemouth was awful.
Newly promoted or not, they were naive, rabbits stuck in headlights.

A few seconds before half-time they were five down and for once Firmino was not involved, although Travers did deflect his effort for a corner.
Andy Robertson took it and Virgil van Dijk rose above Marcus Tavernier to head home.
The 2-0 win at Aston Villa on the opening day will seem like a long, long time ago as they walked to the shrine of the dressing room, but it was all too brief there.
Just three minutes into the second half, Chris Mepham contributed to his team’s upset with an own goal.
Liverpool dominated possession and took 50 touches inside the Cherries penalty area
The number seven only served to underline the misery Parker’s players were going through.
Robertson curled over a cross that Travers, the only visiting player to try to show any real resistance, spilled over.
The ball fell to Firmino and while the goalkeeper saved his first shot, he could do nothing with the rebound.
By this time a record 10-0 Prem win was on the cards and in the 82nd minute came number eight, substitute Fabio Carvalho claiming his first goal since his £9 million arrival from Fulham in summer.
And they weren’t done there, equaling the Prem record with Diaz heading home from close range for his second.
And the only surprise of a game that ended almost before it started?
Mo Salah did not get his name on this extraordinary score sheet!
