If you have a Telstra TV, there’s a world of extras you may not know about. They’re all in the Telstra TV app for your phone – go check it out! You can find something to watch or go directly to any Telstra TV app, but this feature is one of our favorites.

We love Telstra TV – we believe it’s the easiest way to get all of Australia’s favorite live streaming services, live TV and on-demand content in one place. You can watch new movies from the Telstra TV box office or log in to the most popular services like Disney + and BINGE.

Listen to Telstra TV on your phone

This little-known feature of Telstra TV is a great extra for all families. Whether you’ve gotten out of bed to watch your favorite sport at 2am, or don’t want to distract your kids from afternoon study time, there’s a way to see the big screen without big so.

We call it private listening. Here’s how to activate it:

  1. Download and open the Telstra TV mobile app and connect your phone to your Telstra TV via Wi-Fi using the sync button at the top right of the app.
  2. Play any content you want to watch on your Telstra TV, whether you’re using the Telstra TV remote control or the physical remote included with your device.
  3. On the Remote screen of the Telstra TV mobile app, tap the headset icon to enable private listening, and then tap OK.
  4. Voila! The audio on your Telstra TV is playing on your phone.

Once you’ve played Telstra TV audio on your phone, you can listen to it through your phone speaker and create your own TV sound bubble – your TV will remain muted until you turn off the sound again. private listening on the Telstra TV app. You can connect headphones to your phone or connect them via Bluetooth if you want a more wireless experience.
