There is nothing better for her to do than revenge.
Taylor Swift released her tenth studio album midnight last week, and fans are poring over each song’s lyrics to try and figure out who they might be about.
A TikTok woman who claims she went to high school with the 32-year-old artist is confirming what fans know to be true: “Everything Ms. Swift does is intentional.”
“I went to the same high school as Taylor Swift, we grew up in the same town,” Jessica McLane claimed in her TikTok video, addressing all the conspiracy theory talk between the Swifties.
The TikToker began by saying that he wanted to issue a “general apology” for not knowing much about the singer even though they went to Hendersonville High School in Tennessee, and admitted that he was “just into Taylor Swift.”
“In 2006, I was a first-year high school student. Taylor is, I think, a junior. I think in the summer the tears just came out of my guitar. Obviously, she got very old, and this was the year she left school and was homeschooled.
McLane alleged that when Swift became “super successful”, most of her classmates “hated her”.
She clarified that the people who “hated” her were peers, not random people on the internet.
“He was literally 16, 17 years old, and he dropped out of high school to pursue a career that people told him he could never have,” McLane continued.
“Also, the boys that I was writing these songs about, they were still in school. They were still there. And now they have a hit song about them talking about how they’re their boyfriends,” she laughed.
The Post has reached out to Swift’s representatives for comment.
McLane explained that people were spreading rumors about how Swift got her start in music, saying she bought her fame.
“But the fact is, there weren’t many people in high school who had good things to say about her,” he said.
In a follow-up video, McLane says “jealousy was definitely a thing” when it came to why people didn’t like the pop star.
He explained that because of its proximity to Nashville, everyone knew someone in the music industry or someone trying to get into the industry, and young people trying to make a career in music were playing downtown Nashville or local cafes, without arriving. famous awards and winners.
When a commenter pointed out that McLane did not provide any receipts for her claims, she posted a video showing her yearbooks.
He gave fans a look at his 2006-2007 Henderson High School yearbook from what would have been his freshman year, as well as his 2009-2010 yearbook, which would have been his senior year which reportedly went to the CMA.
McLane explains that the reason she didn’t show Swift in the yearbook is because the well-known star started homeschooling and dropped out before photo day. However, she posted another video showing that she actually found the rising pop star in a photo collage.

Fast forward to 2009, when McLane was a senior in high school, and the Without fear singer invited the entire senior class to the 2009 Country Music Association Awards.
“When I found out we were going, we were all very excited. I mean, who gets invited by Taylor Swift to the CMAs. That’s great,” he shared. “But, it was very random. Like, we didn’t know why Taylor Swift was inviting us to the CMAs.”
“His performances were incredible,” added McLane.
McLane showed a flyer and her ticket from the CMAs on TikTok as evidence to support her claims.
That year at the CMAs, Swift broke history as the youngest artist to receive the Entertainer of the Year award at just 19 years old. She also won the titles of female vocalist of the year, music video of the year for love story and album of the year for Without fear.
McLane jumps ahead: “It’s 2022, Taylor Swift announces midnight right?”
“It’s going to be released on Kim Kardashian’s birthday. That’s when I start to realize that Taylor is a little bitch,” he postulates, smiling.
He shares that he’s starting to learn about all the other subtle things Swift has allegedly done to get back at those who have wronged him over the years.
For example, Swift’s music video for bad blood it is believed to be about his disappearance with Katy Perry. Fans will also be the first to admit that they believe many of her lyrics are shots at people who did her wrong. More recently, his song On the watch of S**t to the midnight The album is about his former manager Scooter Braun, who infamously sold his masters for over $300 million, and his ex-wife Yael Cohen.
“Now she’s got the house, the kids, the pride / Picture me as thieves with your ex-wife / And she looks so pretty driving in your Benz / Lately she’s been seen dressed for revenge,” Swift sings in the song. apparently referring to Braun buying a new house after his divorce.
McLane noted that Swift plans years ahead: She waited three years to invite her high school classmates to an awards show.
“You guys, he invited us to the CMAs to tell you to screw up,” McLane said. “And we deserved it. So to Taylor: touché, that was good.
