Health Report Connecting diet and mental health

Mental illness will affect almost half of adults at some point in our lives, and the drivers are complex: in the Health Report in the past we talked about its relationship to the immune system, tobacco, and exercise. to name just a few.

We add another to the mix: nutrition. We know it’s good for our bodies, but the evidence shows it’s good for our minds too, and the top dietitian in Australia wants nutritional help covered by Medicare in mental health plans.
