All 32 nations at the World Cup have played at least two of their three group stage matches. Only three nations (reigning champions France, favorites Brazil and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal) have won two to guarantee progression to the last 16.
Meanwhile, two nations, hosts Qatar and Canada, had no chance of reaching the knockout rounds heading into the final day, having lost both of their opening two matches.
So it’s all to play for in the final slate of group stage fixtures, with qualification still up for grabs for all the other nations.
This is what every team needs in their final group stage games.
