Erik ten Hag’s first taste of European football as Manchester United manager includes a trip to Sheriff Tiraspol, who beat Real Madrid away in the Champions League last season.

The Red Devils have been drawn in Group E alongside Moldovan champions Real Sociedad of Spain and Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus, who are managed by former Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

Arsenal will also find a familiar face in the dugout. His former nemesis Ruud van Nistelrooy is now in charge of PSV, who have been drawn in Group A along with the Gunners, Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich.

The Swiss champions have had a strange start to the season, however, and are rock bottom in the Swiss Superliga.

PSV were knocked out by Rangers in their Champions League play-off, while Bodo/Glimt lost 1-0 to lose 4-2 on aggregate against Dinamo Zagreb.
