Christina Applegate has made her first public appearance since announcing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis last year.
The 50-year-old American actress, who last week revealed she hadn’t dated since August 2021, attended a ceremony on Tuesday to receive her star on the coveted Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Walking with the aid of a cane, a barefoot Applegate gave a brief acceptance speech, where she was seen sporting a manicure that read “FU MS.”

“I can’t take too long, so I’m going to thank the people I really need to thank,” Applegate began.

“This will be my first time since then [being] diagnosed with MS. Canes are now part of my new normal,” she continued, telling fans to “stay tuned to see which ones make the cut for a week of stuff.”
