Earlier, Portugal narrowly edged out Ghana, 3-2, to secure three points in Group H. Elsewhere, Swiss got three points in Group G after defeating Cameroon1-0, while Uruguay i South Korea fought to a 0-0 draw in the second game of the day. Both teams got a point in Group H for their efforts.

Serbia were booked early in this one as Strahinja Pavlović tangled with Neymar.

Brazil was so close to take the lead, but Neymar’s shot was narrowly saved by Vanja Milinković-Savić.
So things remained scoreless for the first half.

Once again, Brazil had the chance to go ahead, but their efforts were not lacking as the second half began.

Pavlović made a crucial tackle in the Serbia box to prevent Brazil from scoring. This came just minutes after team-mate Nemanja Gudelj was shown a yellow card, Serbia’s second of the match, in the 49th minute.

Richarlison scored the first goal of the game, putting Brazil ahead, 1-0 in the 62nd minute.
