Bellator 283 is set and ready to go down later TONIGHT (Friday, July 22, 2022) from the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington with a welterweight fight between former division champion Douglas Lima , facing Jason Jackson. . In more action, Sidney Outlaw will battle Tofiq Musayev in a lightweight title fight.

Douglas Lima vs. Jason Jackson
Round 1: High kick by Lima, low kick by Jackson. Jackson gets a takedown and is in guard. Lima tries to get out of this situation, but Jackson keeps his position pretty strong. Jackson tries to mount but Lima prevents it. Jackson stayed busy from the top position and pretty much took this round. 10-9 Jackson
Round 2: Jackson catches up early and takes Lima down again. Knees down on things for Jackson. Lima is on his back again and struggles to his feet. Not a good position for Lima. Grab an arm and look for the bracelet. Jackson grabs him and hits him. Lime throws an upkick and shakes Jackson, who is stunned for a second but recovers. Jackson is back up top and raining hard punches. 10-9 Jackson
Round 3: Jackson comes in for another early takedown, but Lima is defending well against the cage here. Jackson’s feet. Lima takes down Jackson and is now in the top position. Jackson manages to get up and then shoots and scores the takedown. Jackson landing some big shots from Lima’s guard. Lima tries to return fire, but doesn’t land many punches. 10-9 Jackson
Round 4: Low kicks from Lima to start. Jackson shoots for another takedown and gets it. The crowd is not feeling this strategy and the boo birds are now in full effect. Jackson took some shots to the body. Lima looks a little frustrated here, and with good reason because he’s below the scorecards and Jackson is too heavy up top. Lima is bleeding above his right eye. Three minutes into the fourth round and Jackson is dominating the round and the fight. Lima is breathing heavily here, and it’s not a good song to enter the fifth and final round down on all scores. 10-9 Jackson
Round 5: Lima comes out aggressive, throws and lands a right and Jackson gets another takedown. This is simply not good for the former welterweight world champion. Jackson is simply working from the top and won’t let Lima get up. Lima is working hard but just doesn’t have the strength to get up, Jackson gets up all round for the dominant win. 10-9 Jackson
Final result: Jackson defeated. Lima by unanimous decision
Sydney Outlaw vs. Tofig Musayev
Round 1: Right from Musayev, then a left hand knocks Outlaw off the jump. He has wobbly legs and Musayev lands another right that drops Outlaw. It’s all over! WOW!
Final result: Musayev def. Banned by first round knockout
Usman Nurmagomedov vs. Chris Gonzalez
Round 1: A tentative start by both men. Two minutes and little action. Hick shot by Nurmagomedov. Jab from Nurmagomedov. It’s been two and a half minutes and both men have been tentative so far. Many feints from Gonzalez. Gonzalez rushes Nurmagomedov and he clinch and Nurmagomedov reverses position and trips him up. It sinks into a strange frontal. It is tight and Gonzalez is forced to overcome.
Final result: Nurmagomedov def. Gonzalez via guillotine in the first round
Lorenz Larkin vs. Mukhamed Berkhamov
Round 1: Larkin comes in with several big shots, Berkhamov dodges and scores an early takedown and is now in side control. Berkhamov keeps Larkin down and Larkin can’t do much to get up. Larkin uses the cage to wall walk and is on his feet. Larkin elbows the back of the head and Berkhamov goes down in pain. A break in the action to let Berkhamov recover. Berkhamov tells the referee that he is dizzy. After taking most of the five minutes, Berkahmov tells the referee that he cannot continue and the fight is called.
Final Result: Fight is deemed a No Contest (NC)
Davion Franklin vs. Marcelo Golm
Round 1: Jab by Franklin. Golm comes in with a right hand. Golm low kick. Golm catches Franklin’s kick and slams him to the canvas. Golm grabs his back. Franklin fighting. Franklin grabs Golm, stands up and slams him to the canvas! WOW! He picks it up again and hits it once more. Looks like WWE here. Side control for Franklin. Franklin dropped some nasty elbows on Golm’s chin. Golm has a nasty cut above his right eye. Golm with a flying forehand that lands cleanly. Golm with a nasty elbow to the jaw. Golm now walks Franklin. Franklin’s mouthpiece goes flying and another from the hand straight from Golm. 10-9 Franklin
Round 2: Another stiff jab from Franklin. Golm low kick. Battle for position against the cage. Golm with a solid body shot and Franklin simply walks back. Franklin’s wild spinning back fist catches nothing but air. Cling to the fence, Golm looking for a takedown. A stiff blow from Franklin momentarily stunned Golm. Franklin is tired, looking at the clock, and tags Golm with a one-two combo. Franklin shoots and secures the takedown. Side control Golm somehow sweeps and reverses position into side control. Now Franklin reverses the position, wow, nothing but brute force to pull it off. Franklin in guard drops elbows as the round comes to a close. close one 10-9 Golm
Round 3: Franklin trades kicks and Golm fires in a right hand. Level change for Franklin, but Golm fills the removal. Golm pushes the pace and Franklin fires in a right hand that breaks his foe’s jaw. Golm’s cut bleeds again. Golm pushes Franklin against the cage and lands some knees to the midsection. Franklin is throwing bombs even though he is exhausted. Golm grab all the haymakers and push Franklin against the cage. Knees to the inner thigh for Golm. Franklin and Golm’s wild spinning back makes it pay to take him down. He grabs his back and sinks into the rear naked strafe and makes him tap! Wow! A bloody Golm gives Franklin his first defeat.
Final result: Golm def. Franklin via rear choke choke
