A video has surfaced on social media of baggage handlers recklessly hitting the luggage of Qantas passengers at the carousel at Melbourne Airport.
The two men, who appear to be unaware they are being filmed, are seen throwing bags forcefully onto the conveyor belt behind the baggage claim area.
At one point, the man lifts a bag high above his head and throws it onto the conveyor belt.

One passenger told Today it was “really disrespectful”.
“People aren’t aware of what’s in those bags, it can be important to them and you hope you don’t get it when you fly Qantas,” the airport traveler said.
Qantas has condemned the behavior saying it is “unacceptable”.
“The contracted ground handler was conducting an urgent investigation,” the airline said in a statement.
It is not known if the video workers will keep their jobs.
