Bachelor star Florence Moerenhout has revealed that she was rushed to hospital after getting high on her drink.
The 32-year-old TV star believes a “date rape” drug like Rohypnol or GHB was thrown at her while on a night out in Melbourne. Now she wants to warn other women.
“Last night I went out for a couple of drinks and I only had three drinks with some friends and by about 10.30pm I was really sick,” he said.
He thought he was simply drunk, but when he got home his condition continued to deteriorate.
“I got home and I just got sicker and sicker, I kept falling and tripping, I couldn’t stand or sit, I was rolling around,” she said.
Florence said that nothing she had tried made her feel better.
“I was nauseous. I tried everything, a hot bath, a cold shower, I tried vomiting. I tried eating, I tried drinking. Nothing would work.
“I ended up in the hospital and spent the whole night in the hospital.”
Florence thinks that Rohypnol was most likely in her drink, as her symptoms point to it. According to Healthline, these include slurred speech, feeling dizzy, extremely intoxicated, memory loss and blackouts.
He ended the video by saying, “[To whoever did this to us] I hope God makes your hair recede so far that no woman ever wants to look at you again.
Florence starred The Baccalaureate in 2017 and Bachelor in Paradise in 2019 before moving to the Netherlands. He returned to Australia last year.
