American rapper Azealia Banks canceled her performance in Brisbane on Tuesday night and has vowed never to return to Australia.
Banks performed at Sydney’s Enmore Theater on Sunday night but pulled out of this week’s rescheduled Brisbane show. His canceled Melbourne show at Festival Hall on December 10 was still listed as “rescheduled” on the venue’s website on Wednesday afternoon.

Hours before Tuesday night’s rescheduled Brisbane show, Banks announced on Instagram that the show would not go ahead, citing a previous bad experience she had on stage in Brisbane.
“The last time I was in Brisbane and you threw shit on stage and he almost hit me in the face with a fucking soda bottle or whatever that shit is,” he said. a video posted on Instagram.
“After this race, this will be my last tour of Australia.”

After her initial Instagram story about canceling her performance at Brisbane’s Tivoli Theatre, Banks said the show would go on, but “anything and everything that could be considered a projectile should be registered at the coat check. No keys, no coins, no brushes, no pens, no lighters. No drinks on the dance floor. The minute something stupid happens I leave.
“After this race, this will be my last tour of Australia,” he said.
“This place makes me very miserable and I’m too black and pretty to have a bunch of white people in my face playing me with their weak coin.”
