Even if Amazon closed the sale this early in the day, it would already be a much, much better deal for Apple fans than what was on sale in the summer. Our own Bryan Wolfe lamented how bad this summer’s original Amazon Prime sale was for Apple fans (opens in a new tab) in this great post. Fortunately, we’re seeing a lot more joy from this showcase of pre-Black Friday deals.

One of the most expensive upgrades you can make at the point of purchase with a new MacBook is storage space: Apple charges a premium for its built-in SSD upgrades, and it’s a near-impossible job to increase it later. So getting some extra external space for your MacBook is a must, and this Prime Early Access sale deal on a Western Digital drive is a steal.

Sound bar sale
…and let’s go! The Prime Early Access sale has officially kicked off, and we’re starting to see big savings on gadgets in Amazon’s inventory. Day one is a treat for Apple TV fans, as JBL is heavily discounting some pretty sweet-sounding soundbars on sale, putting some Dolby Atmos into your TV Plus viewing sessions, or any other live streaming service.

A few hours off for dinner and tickets to see this guy (opens in a new tab)…and I’m back! And this time with an Apple Watch alternative. We’ve already seen an unlikely Apple Watch Series 8 deal (opens in a new tab) just weeks after its release… but what about a different smartwatch?
Before the proper start of the Amazon Prime Early Access sale, you can pick up the GPS TicWatch Pro 3 for just $164.99 (opens in a new tab), a $135 reduction from the price of sale That’s down from $299.99, so almost a 50% savings on this laptop.
Making use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor and powered by Wear OS, it has an “Essential” power mode that will give you 45 days of power on a single charge; of course, it will disable some of the smart online features. , but if you plan to go off the grid with a smartwatch, that’s an incredible feat without a battery recharge.
For this offer, just make sure you hit the “Apply Coupon” button in the listing, as that’s what activates the discount.

Not a fan of Apple’s HomePod Mini? Amazon’s Alexa is arguably the best voice assistant out there, at least compared to Siri, which makes this an attractive deal on an Echo Dot (Opens in a new tab).
It’s the fourth-generation unit, which normally retails for $49.99, but it’s a whopping 50% off (opens in a new tab) for the Prime Early Access sale, meaning you can pick up an Echo Dot today for just $24.99 (opens in a new tab) .
It makes a great smart home controller, allowing you to ask the voice assistant to play songs from services like Spotify, turn your home’s lights on and off, adjust thermostats, set timers, and more month. At $24.99, it’s worth a notch and only lacks the front LED clock of the 5th generation model. It’s a bargain (opens in a new tab).

eReader Excellence: Great Kindle Deals
It wouldn’t be an Amazon sale without some Kindle eReader sales, and there’s already a good deal on the Kindle Paperwhite ahead of the event’s full launch.
You can pick up the Kindle Paperwhite for just $99.99 at Amazon (opens in a new tab), saving you $40 off its regular price of $139.99. While it won’t offer the same rich media experience as a color touchscreen iPad, Kindles are definitely the superior reading experience thanks to their e-Ink screens that are much easier on the eyes . Complete with backlighting and waterproofing, it’s a great way to while away a few hours with your favorite novels. If this one doesn’t appeal to you, check out the full Kindle sale range (opens in a new tab) – there are plenty of deals to choose from.

We love Nintendo action here at iMore, and while the Nintendo Switch 2 and/or Pro are nowhere to be seen, the latest Nintendo Switch OLED is still a pretty tasty handheld thanks to its 7-inch screen broken and improved battery life.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to pick one up, there’s a great deal as part of Amazon’s Prime Day early access sale.
You can pick up the Nintendo Switch OLED for $297.66, a saving of 12% / $42.24 (opens in a new tab) over its usual price of $339.90 RRP. This includes the latest LAN compatible dock, with a sleek white finish.
It’s a shame there aren’t any games as well, but for the latest version of Nintendo’s console, this is a very good price.

Not a bad start for Apple products, considering the sales event doesn’t officially start until tomorrow. But what about a little further?

OK, not to pretend that a charger is the most exciting of Apple products, but if you don’t have juice, you don’t have a gadget, right?
So if you’re in the market for a spare (or replacement) USB-C charger for your devices, you can save a not-insignificant $13 with Apple’s 30W USB-C Charger (opens at a new tab) to the right of Amazon. now, where it has been reduced from $49 to $35.99 (opens in a new tab). It should work well with a recent MacBook Air M1 or an iPad Pro.

Here’s an unlikely entry to the list of the new Apple Watch Series 8 (opens in a new tab)! It’s only been available to buy for a few weeks, so we weren’t expecting to see anything for Apple’s latest line of smartwatches. But here we are!
You are viewing the GPS-only version of the Apple Watch in Midnight Aluminum (with Midnight Sport Band), measuring 41mm. But this is on sale for a $50 savings (opens in a new tab), bringing the price down from $399 to a much nicer $349 (opens in a new tab).
Don’t expect to see this new smartwatch reduced much more than that for the rest of the year.

And let’s go! Gerald Lynch, Editor-in-Chief of iMore, sitting in front of his banker’s lamp with calculator in hand, looking for the best deals in the Prime Early Access sale.
A great start for first-time audiophiles. Want to get your hands (or ears…with?) a pair of AirPods 2? You can save a whopping 43% (opens in a new tab) off the regular purchase price on Apple’s wireless in-ear headphones, with AirPods 2 down to just $89.99 (opens in a tab new), a big chunk of the regular price of $159.
