Ally Langdon’s Mercedes Benz has been towed from the Today car park in the morning show host’s latest episode.
Friday marked Ally’s last stint on the Channel 9 breakfast panel before starting her new role as presenter of A topical issue.
True to form, co-host Karl Stefanovic couldn’t resist taking a series of final digs at the star before his exit.
The media personality looked shocked as her colleagues pranked her relentlessly on the show, towing her car, cleaning her desk and taunting her about her alleged flatulence.
In a brutal stunt, weatherman Tim Davies appeared in the grid car park with KWT 24-hour Towing hitching up Ally’s car to drop off his officer. Today parking space.
“What? You’ve got to be kidding me,” Ally exclaimed as her vehicle pulled away.
“We’re having a fire sale of Allison Langdon, including her car,” Tim joked.
“How much does a German junk like this charge? never taken care of Kind of like Ally,” she added.
“We’ll send it as it comes on in the bright lights of prime time and park it somewhere else. Wherever A topical issue park.”
Later in the show, Tim was filmed from the Channel 9 offices dumping Ally’s photos and belongings into a cardboard box.
In another segment, a guest referenced the infamous clip of one of Ally’s children saying he “farts a lot” aired on the show in May as part of a Mother’s Day special.
Dee Dee Dunleavy said: “I would like to say that the whistleblower in the family who says Ally farts, there are rainbow clouds and unicorns flowing through them, would be very special farts” , he said with a laugh from the panel.
On Sunday night it was announced that Ally would be leaving Today to take over the spot left vacant by Tracy Grimshaw, who left A Current Affair after 17 years this week.
60 minutes Journalist Sarah Abo will join the network’s morning show alongside Karl, Alex Cullen, Brooke Boney and Tim Davies on Monday 16 January. Ally begins her role in A topical issue on Monday, January 30.

“I won’t lie, it’s daunting to take on the role that Tracy has navigated so brilliantly for the past 17 years, with such warmth and compassion. I look forward to bringing my own warmth and compassion to the show as we continue to tell great stories that matter to our viewers.
“I understand that it is a big change for our audience, and also for me personally. There is great sadness in leaving my brilliant Today Show family, in particular my co-host Karl, who have made these last three years so wonderful and fun, even though I don’t miss the 3am alarm!
In her own statement, Sarah Abo said she was “excited to be joining the wonderful and hard-working team at Today.”
“I’ve been incredibly lucky to work alongside some of the best journalists in the country at 60 Minutes and travel the nation and the world bringing stories to the Australian public. It’s an absolute privilege to meet so many inspiring people and help tell their stories “, he said.
“I can’t wait to put everything I’ve learned from these incredible experiences into my new role at Today. The 3am alarm will be an adjustment, but I’m looking forward to keeping Karl on his toes.”
