On November 7, the 3-mile parade will start at noon on Preston Street and Smith Street to Tuam Street and Smith Street.
“The fans support us. And to see this place explode was spectacular,” Astros owner Jim Crane said of Saturday’s win. “Have a safe day and enjoy the championship.”
Arrive at the parade
City officials urge attendees to arrive early and take advantage of ride-sharing agencies, Houston METRO or even carpooling.
To help ease congestion in and around downtown, METRO is free all day on Mondays.
Officials are urging people to pack drinks and water because Monday is forecast to be a warmer day.
“Please take the METRO tomorrow. I ask that everyone be on their best behavior. It shows the best of what this city is. It’s up to us to thank them and celebrate them,” said Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner.
Rideshare locations:
- Roast Square Memorial Park
- Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart
You can view the parade map and rideshare options on the METRO website.
