Yesterday, we reported the first rumors about the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Z Flip 5 (opens in a new tab) and observed that they were even earlier than normal, as Samsung had not yet revealed its predecessors.
Well, now it seems they will soon wait, according to a convincing leaked teaser image shared on Twitter by Evan Blass (opens in a new tab), which is a filter with a great history. The image consists of an image of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which Blass has blurred, along with the August 10 date.

The teaser mentions that August 10 will be a Galaxy Unpacked event, and as these usually see Samsung launch several products, we also hope that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will also be launched then. While the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 (opens in a new tab) is not shown in the teaser, since tracking Samsung’s ad patterns, we expect it to launch at the same time as the Galaxy Z Flip 4. August 10 seems like a great day for Samsung.

Blass isn’t the only filter that announced August 10 as the announcement date for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4; last month, another filter, Jon Prosser (opens in a new tab), said it would be when we would see the Galaxy Flip. 4 and fold 4, too.

Prosser also said pre-orders will open immediately and the new smartphones will hit stores on August 26th. When we take a look at the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, these phones with caps were introduced on August 11, 2021., making the claims of the filters even more likely, as the manufacturers they tend to follow launch patterns.
