Abbie Chatfield has confirmed her split from Konrad Bien-Stephens after weeks of speculation, declaring the split had nothing to do with their open relationship.
The It’s a lot The podcast host took to Instagram followers on Saturday night to reveal she and single The Konrad star split “a couple of months ago” after 10 months together.
Admitting she was “anxious” to release a statement, Abbie thought she “probably won’t share (her) relationship publicly again” because of the inevitable scrutiny.

“I guess I just wanted to confirm that yes, Konrad and I have broken up. We’ve been separated for a couple of months now.
“Nobody did anything bad or horrible, there’s no drama,” he continued.
“It wasn’t because we were in an open relationship. Nothing bad happened.
“I wasn’t cheating by not telling people, there was a reason there was a delay in telling you all,” she explained of her silence until now.
Abbie continued to trash rumors that their breakup was ‘messy’, adding: ‘I don’t really owe any of you an explanation.
“I just feel like biting it all of a sudden… We’re broken up, it’s not a secret, it’s nothing bad, it’s not dramatic, it just is what it is,” she repeated.
“I’ll probably never share my relationship publicly again to be honest because this whole situation and the way the media has reported it… like it’s a game, like my relationship is a game… it’s pretty shit. ked,” added a visibly frustrated Abbie about the saga.
It comes after reports emerged in August that Konrad, who is currently overseas taking part in Channel 10’s new reality show the challengeconnected with a partner High school student Megan Marx during filming.
It’s not the first time Abbie has addressed criticism of her relationship, specifically her and Konrad’s choice to remain non-monogamous.

The pair first spoke openly about their relationship in February, prompting a barrage of criticism online which Abbie branded ’embarrassing’.
