Harry Styles is seen snubbing Olivia Wilde on the red carpet at the film’s premiere

To say the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling on Tuesday was a disaster would be an understatement.

From a viral video of Harry Styles appearing to spit on his co-star Chris Pine, to Florence Pugh missing the press conference and subsequently ignoring her director Olivia Wilde during the screening, the film movie is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

And now, a new clip has emerged that shows there could also be trouble between Wilde and Styles, who began dating during filming in late 2020.

In the video, Styles, 28, can be seen standing next to Wilde, 38, on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival yesterday, but she appears to have brushed him off.

Instead, he fist pumps Nick Kroll, refuses to make eye contact with Wilde, and eventually positions himself between Gemma Chan and Sydney Chandler.

Reports suggest the cast tension began when Wilde and Styles formed an on-set romance, allegedly while Wilde was still in a long-term relationship with Ted Lasso actor Jason Sudeikis.

The former couple, who share two children together, announced their split after nine years together and in January, Wilde was photographed holding hands with Styles attending a friend’s wedding.

At the time, sources cited Wilde’s relationship with Styles as the main reason for their engagement break-up, with an insider saying New York Post at the time the duo had an ongoing affair, leaving Sudeikis bewildered.

“Jason and the kids visited Olivia on set a few times in the beginning, so I think that all made people a little uncomfortable,” the source said.

And in August, rumors began to circulate that Wilde had moved on with Pugh, 26.

“I can tell you that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry on set didn’t go over well since Olivia was still with Jason when she first connected with Harry,” a source told the publication.

There certainly seemed to be some truth to those whispers when the cast attended the premiere on Tuesday, where viewers noted that Pugh and Wilde didn’t interact with each other at all.

It’s also very unusual for a director not to pose for an official photo with his two stars, in this case, Pugh and Styles.

The trio were apart at all times, both on the red carpet and inside the theater.

Don’t worry honey hits theaters in October.
