Britney Spears’ wedding has been dramatically starred by her first husband, Jason Alexander.
TMZ reports that Spears’ marriage to Sam Asghari in Los Angeles today (June 9) was interrupted by Alexander, whom he married in 2004, but the wedding was annulled 55 hours later.
Alexander posted the incident on Instagram and TMZ reports that the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded to an intrusion call and is reportedly still at the scene.
Apparently, Spears’ ex approached the security of the event as he went live on Instagram, telling them that Spears had invited him. He reportedly then said he was going to crash the wedding before what TMZ calls a “physical fight” took place.
“She’s my first wife, my only wife,” Alexander told security. “I’m her first husband, I’m here to drop the wedding.”
Alexander somehow arrived at Spears’ house, where he continued to broadcast the event from his telephone. He was eventually restricted.
Spears and Alexander were childhood friends before their short marriage.
Alexander was recently arrested in Franklin, Tennessee for violating an aggravated protection and harassment order.
This is a story in development, with more to come.
