Lewis Hamilton cheered on his Denver Broncos team from the stands for the first time on Monday night.
The Formula 1 star became part owner of the three-time Super Bowl champions in August and was able to show his support in Los Angeles as the team took on the Chargers.
Hamilton posted a photo of SoFi Stadium to his Instagram story with the caption: “Seeing my team for the first time. So excited to be here. Let’s go @broncos.’
The team also shared a clip that the seven-time world champion recorded on their official Twitter account.
With the field behind him, Hamilton said, “Hey, what’s up Broncos Country, Lewis Hamilton here.” Here to support the team. Go Broncos.
Hamilton was spotted enjoying the AFC West match alongside the Walton Penner Ownership Group, including Rob Walton, Greg Penner and Carrie Walton Penner.

Hamilton joined the Broncos franchise as part of the team’s takeover by the Walton-Penner family two months ago.

Hamilton shared his excitement to be part of the Broncos team, writing on his Twitter profile at the time, alongside a photo of his dog Roscoe in Broncos gear: “Excited to join an amazing group of owners and be part of the @Broncos history!!

Forbes identified other bidders as Josh Harris, who is part of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils ownership group; Jose E. Feliciano, one of the founders of Clearlake Capital; and mortgage lender Mat Ishbia.
Mercedes driver Hamilton, 37, is the third limited partner to join the Walton-Penner ownership group.
The Broncos have failed to reach the playoffs in six seasons, but they acquired former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks for the new season.
