Oil protesters throw soup on Van Gogh’s painting of sunflowers

The painting is one of seven sunflower works Van Gogh created between 1888 and 1889, five of which are on display in galleries and museums around the world. The artist created them to decorate his house in Arles, France, before the visit of his friend, the artist Paul Gauguin.
