Vikings at Saints (London)

Time: Sunday, 9:30am ET (NFL Network), airs on fuboTV (try it for free) Open: PKActual: Vikings -3

Latest odds: New Orleans Saints +3.5

“Get your tea and potatoes ready, because this Sunday is the first week of the season where we have a game in London. I’ll probably put coffee in my crumpets and mix my tea with Red Bull because this game starts. long before the that I want my football to start… Now, I’m not sure if O’Connell has ever been to London, but it seems like the worst idea ever. There’s a six hour difference between London time and London time. the time zone the Vikings are usually in. If they usually go to bed at 11pm in Minnesota, that means they won’t go to bed until 5am in London. As the resident time zone expert here at CBSSports.com, I’m not sure this is the best course of action…

“I love a good vacation as much as anyone, but I think I’ll take the team that treats it like a business trip. I’ll take the Vikings here, but I’d like to point out that there’s a There’s a 49% chance that this pick will totally backfire due to the fact that O’Connell’s crazy time zone plan will cause the Vikings to get away so badly that they sleepwalk through the entire first half and get outscored 21-3.I hope not do. It happens though, because I’m with Minnesota here.” — John Breech, CBS Sports writer and super friend of the Pick Six Podcast, on why he’s taking the Vikings when they face the Saints across the pond.

Browns at Falcons

Time: Sunday, 1pm ET (CBS), stream on Paramount+ (click here)Open: Browns -2.5Current: Browns -1

Latest Odds: Atlanta Falcons +1

“Myles Garrett’s status is uncertain as he recovers from a car accident. Cleveland is without Jadeveon Clowney. So it looks like another strong day for Atlanta’s ninth-to-5 offense, 9 yards per play. The Falcons won’t be able to stop. Cleveland’s run game, but Marcus Mariota, Kyle Pitts, Cordarrelle Patterson and Drake London should make enough plays to lose by a touchdown or less.” — SportsLine pundit Larry Hartstein explains why he’s teasing the Falcons from +1.5 to +7.5. Despite this this is not Hartstein’s official teaser for Week 4. To see it, go to SportsLine.

Commanders of the Cowboys

Time: Sunday, 1pm ET (Fox), airs on fuboTV (try it for free) Open: Cowboys -6Current: Cowboys -3

Latest Odds: Dallas Cowboys -3

“Washington was awful in every aspect of the game last week, but Dallas is playing on a short week. Still, the big mismatch here is Dallas’ defensive front against Washington’s offensive line. That line was bad the last week. It’ll be here, too. The Cowboys will win behind some turnovers forced by that line and a good ground game.” — CBS Sports Senior NFL Analyst Pete Prisco explains why he’s picking the Cowboys to cover Washington’s -3 home spread.

Seahawks at Lions

Time: Sunday, 1pm ET (Fox), airs on fuboTV (try it for free) Open: Lions -1Current: Lions -3.5

Latest odds: Detroit Lions -3.5

“The Lions have been a fantastic bet under head coach Dan Campbell. Through his tenure leading up to last season, Detroit has covered 70 percent of their games and is 3-0 ATS to start the 2022 campaign. The Lions play every tough opponent and probably should have gotten a win last week in Minnesota. This week, they have an easier opponent in the Seahawks, who are 0-2 after upsetting the Broncos in a emotional week 1 game at home.

“Even with star running back D’Andre Swift sitting out this game due to injury, there is a clear mismatch between Detroit’s offense and Seattle’s defense. The Lions’ offense ranks seventh league in DVOA, while the Seahawks defense ranks 30th. NFL. Detroit’s defense hasn’t been anything to write home about either, but their offensive ceiling is higher in my eyes than what the Seahawks will carry at Ford Field.” — CBS Sports NFL writer Tyler Sullivan explains why putting up points and playing the Lions is one of his Locks of the Week.

Titans at Colts

Time: Sunday, 1pm ET (Fox), airs on fuboTV (try it for free) Open: Colts -3Current: Colts -3.5

Latest odds: Indianapolis Colts -3.5

“The Colts saved their season last week with an impressive win over one of the best teams in the league in the Kansas City Chiefs. But was it really that impressive? The Chiefs did everything they could to lose this one game, from fumbles (which led Indy to a three-play, 4-yard TD) to missing field goals to penalties in the worst situations and then Patrick Mahomes threw just his fourth interception of September. The Colts they needed a TD 16 plays and eight minutes in. I’m certainly not convinced their offense will get back on track, but the pressure is already off to get their first win.

“The Titans took a two-TD halftime lead against the Raiders while reaching the end zone on each of their first three plays, but then barely hung on from there as the offense disappear in the second half. They certainly have their own questions to answer, but I think the offense is moving in the right direction with Derrick Henry more involved in the passing game and Robert Woods starting to catch the ball . Jeffery Simmons is a problem for a Colts offensive line that isn’t playing that well. I think the Titans have the best coach and quarterback right now, and because of that, I’m surprised this line is north of 3 and possibly even lean to 4 in the market.” — RJ White, SportsLine’s No. 1 NFL expert, on why he’s taking the Titans in his SuperContest pick.
